Bio

Syrian nasheed artist Abdussalam Hawwa was born in Amman, Jordan, in 1993, where he completed his primary, secondary, and university education. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan.

Abdussalam’s passion for nasheed began at a young age, inspired by his family’s devotion to faith and music. In 2005, he joined the Mawaddah Band alongside artists Yahya Hawwa and Mustafa Al-Azzawi, marking the start of his musical journey. In 2007, he made his first television appearance in the music video Hayati Kuluha Lillah with his uncle, the internationally acclaimed nasheed artist Yahya Hawwa, who discovered Abdussalam’s talent and showcased it to the world.

Over the years, Abdussalam has appeared on popular children’s channels such as Toyor Al Janah, Sanaa, and Canary, and has performed in numerous concerts and festivals internationally, including in Jordan, Australia, Turkey, Algeria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, and the USA.

For years, Abdussalam has focused on Arabic nasheeds, delivering heartfelt performances that combine rich, emotive vocals with messages of hope, gratitude, and devotion to Allah. His style blends timeless Islamic traditions with contemporary arrangements, connecting deeply with audiences in the Arab and Muslim world.

Abdussalam is married to Noor Farhat and is a proud father to two children: Shaam and Elias.

As of 2025, Abdussalam is continuing his artistic journey as the main artist of Noor Wave Records, releasing music in both Arabic and English. This new chapter aims to bridge cultures and reach a global audience while staying true to his mission: creating meaningful, faith-inspired songs that transcend borders and connect souls across the world.
